Overview

GymNotebook is a focused iPhone workout tracker. The app is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not operate a backend service that stores your workout history at this time.

Information You Provide

You can enter workout details, templates, and custom exercises. This information is stored locally on your device. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message so we can reply.

Apple Health

GymNotebook uses Apple's HealthKit framework (Apple Health) to read your profile data (height, weight, and biological sex) and to write workout summaries and energy estimates (active energy, basal energy, and physical effort) to the Health app. Health data is used only to power app features and is not sent to our servers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers in the app.

Data Retention

Your workout data stays on your device until you delete it within the app or remove the app from your device.

Your Choices

You can disable HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings. You can also turn optional features off in the app at any time.
